Plusvital’s Q1 2026 highlights include the Spring Series, EI110 League partnership with Eventing Ireland, global event presence, and international success.

The 2026 Plusvital Premier Series has been officially launched at Ballypatrick Stables, marking the third year of sponsorship by Plusvital. The series will feature seven legs across Ireland, beginning on 10th May at Barnadown Equestrian Centre and concluding at the Irish Breeders Classic. Each leg will offer a €15,000 prize fund, with the best five of the first six rounds counting towards RDS Dublin Horse Show qualification. Following a dominant 2025 season from Niamh McEvoy, anticipation is building for another competitive year of top-class Irish showjumping, with full live coverage on Irish Sport TV and Horse & Country.

The Plusvital Spring Series 2026 has concluded after seven weeks and 16 events across Ireland, with over 800 entries from riders of all levels. The Plusvital Spring Series continued to gather momentum in Week 2, hosted at Milchem Equestrian Centre, Wexford Equestrian Centre, and The Meadows Equestrian Centre. The popular early-season league has already attracted over 300 combinations after just two weeks of competition, underlining its importance as a springboard for riders at all levels.

Gavin Cromwell celebrated a remarkable victory at Gowran Park as Now Is The Hour claimed the 2026 Goffs Thyestes Handicap Chase, one of Ireland’s most historic and competitive races. Ridden by conditional jockey Eoin Staples and owned by the BDS Syndicate.

The 2026 Plusvital Spring Series began in style last weekend, with combined training competitions held at three venues across the country: Coilog Equestrian Centre in Kildare, the Meadows Equestrian Centre in Lurgan, and Milchem Equestrian Centre in Tynagh. The series provides a supportive environment for newcomers to equestrian sport while also offering established athletes valuable preparation for the season ahead. Riders competed across all levels, ranging from CT80 to CT115 with over 200 competitors taking part.
