The Plusvital Spring Series continued to gather momentum in Week 2, hosted at Milchem Equestrian Centre, Wexford Equestrian Centre, and The Meadows Equestrian Centre. The popular early-season league has already attracted over 300 combinations after just two weeks of competition, underlining its importance as a springboard for riders at all levels.

Gavin Cromwell celebrated a remarkable victory at Gowran Park as Now Is The Hour claimed the 2026 Goffs Thyestes Handicap Chase, one of Ireland’s most historic and competitive races. Ridden by conditional jockey Eoin Staples and owned by the BDS Syndicate.

The 2026 Plusvital Spring Series began in style last weekend, with combined training competitions held at three venues across the country: Coilog Equestrian Centre in Kildare, the Meadows Equestrian Centre in Lurgan, and Milchem Equestrian Centre in Tynagh. The series provides a supportive environment for newcomers to equestrian sport while also offering established athletes valuable preparation for the season ahead. Riders competed across all levels, ranging from CT80 to CT115 with over 200 competitors taking part. 

Plusvital is excited to announce the 2026 Plusvital Spring Series, a nationwide programme of combined training competitions running across all regions from January to March 2026. The series is designed to introduce new participants to Eventing, support rider and horse development, and provide a base for the season ahead.
