Plusvital Manufacturing Facility Secures BETA NOPS Accreditation

Irish equine science company Plusvital is delighted to announce that their manufacturing facility has just been approved for the BETA NOPS certification.

Adding this latest certification to the already UFAS-accredited facility provides further assurance to customers that Plusvital supplements are manufactured under strict safety guidelines, with adherence to international anti-doping regulations, while maintaining the highest level of product quality.

The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA)’s highly successful NOPS scheme was established in 2009 to help reduce the risk of naturally occurring prohibited substances (or NOPS) in equine feed and supplements. A NOPS is one that is either naturally present within certain ingredients or that occurs as a result of inadvertent cross-contamination during processing before arriving at the feed manufacturer’s facility.[vc_single_image image=”17067″ img_size=”medium”]All raw materials used in Plusvital products are tested externally to confirm the absence of Naturally Occurring Prohibited Substances (NOPS) by a third party international specialised laboratory, ensuring Plusvital products are safe to use at FEI competition level and in all racing regions globally.
