Plusvital in Action: September 2025 Highlights
September was a milestone month for Plusvital, with a series of exciting events across Ireland and the UK, showcasing new products, celebrating equestrian champions, and supporting community initiatives.
BEVA Congress 2025 – Innovation in Equine Health
From 10th–13th September, Plusvital participated in the BEVA Congress, presenting three vet-only products, including Micro-Sponge and the two new releases OCDx and Betapulmin. The congress provided a prime opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to equine health, veterinary care, and horse supplements to veterinary professionals.
Mullingar Amateur Championships
Plusvital proudly sponsored the Interprovincial Team Challenge at Mullingar Equestrian Centre. The Munster team achieved a perfect score of zero, the team consisted of:
- Nora O’Donovan & Muckross Shadow
- Ruth Walsh & GRC Porsche
- Derrick Burke & Tyreda Chip
- Vicky Curran & RNH Coco Chanel
Irish Champions Weekend – Johnny Murtagh Celebrates Three Winners
The team visited Johnny Murtagh’s yard following a successful Irish Champions Weekend, that took place at Leopardstown Racecourse & The Curragh Racecourse, with the winners being:
- Irish Stallion Farms EBF Sovereign Path Handicap – Rahmi, ridden by R M Mulligan
- Tonybet Solonaway Stakes (Group 2) – Alakazi, ridden by Ben Coen
- Irish Stal. Farms EBF Northfields H´cap1m 2f Handicap – Shaool, ridden by Ben Coen
Johnny is a huge user of Plusvital Racing Syrup. "We are lucky to be involved with Plusvital since I started training. I give them the RACING SYRUP before they run and after, as it helps them get over the race and recover".
September Yearling Sale – Breeding Success
Peter and Katy Nolan Bloodstock, long-time Plusvital supplement users, achieved a standout result on Day 1 at Tattersalls Ireland in the September Yearling Sale , selling a horse for €165,000. The horse was prepped and sold on Plusvital Breeding Syrup & Iron Syrup.
Jack de Bromhead Equine Centre – Supporting ChildVision
Plusvital was delighted to support the Jack de Bromhead Equine Centre, a world-class therapeutic facility for children with visual impairments and additional disabilities. CEO Eoin Thompson attended the launch, reflecting Plusvital’s commitment to supporting meaningful community initiatives.

Lanaken World Championships – Plusvital Ambassadors in Action
- Mikey Pender was crowned the 5-year-old World Champion on HHS Private Ryan, owned by Hughes Horse Stud.
Mikey is a big believer in Plusvital Chillax, to keep young horses focused on the big stage. “I use CHILLAX always as a calmer on some of the younger horses, it keeps their focus that few percent better which makes all the difference in a ring like Lanaken"
- Cathal Daniels remained clear on both days with Tullibards Pandora, qualifying for the 6-year-old final.
BETA International 2025 – Award-Winning Product
Plusvital concluded the month at BETA International, the UK’s premier trade show for the equestrian and country sectors. UK Sales Rep Andrew McSorley engaged with retailers, wholesalers, and importers, while our Bone-Biome supplement received two prestigious awards:
- New Product Showcase – Highly Commended
- Feed, Supplements & Forage Award
Rebecca Watson accepted the awards on behalf of the team. Bone-Biome is already making a real difference in equine nutrition, supporting both bone development and gut health, and has quickly become a favourite among horse owners and professionals.
From winning awards to celebrating successes in competitions and supporting community projects, September was a month that truly showcased Plusvital’s commitment to innovation, performance, and excellence in equestrian care.
