Niamh McEvoy Makes It 4 from 4 in the Plusvital Premier Series

What a season it’s been for Niamh McEvoy, who secured her fourth consecutive victory in the Plusvital Premier Series last Sunday, the 6th of July at Maryville. The incredibly talented young rider has now won every leg of the 2025 series — Barnadown, Mullingar, Cavan, and Maryville.

A total of 30 combinations took on the challenging 1.50m track at Maryville. It proved a true test of both horse and rider, with tight lines and technical combinations.

The first to go — and the pathfinder for the class — was Robyn Moran, who produced an early clear round, quickly followed by Cathal Daniels. In the end, eight combinations made it through to the jump-off, including double-handed efforts from both Niamh McEvoy and Susan Fitzpatrick.

McEvoy was the first to produce a clear in the jump-off, riding Flora Du Mesnil, the same mare who won the last leg in Cavan. Owned by Ballypatrick Stables, this talented 10-year-old mare is still a relatively new ride for McEvoy, but their partnership is already proving unbeatable. They stopped the clock in 37.44 seconds, a time that no one else in the field could match.

It was a thrilling jump-off that kept the crowd on edge, showcasing the huge talent in Irish Showjumping. The standard across the field was exceptional, with Plusvital riders, Susan Fitzpatrick & Cathal Daniels also doing us proud. A big thank you to Maryville Stables for hosting another fantastic leg of the Plusvital Premier Series. The atmosphere, facilities, and course design all contributed to a memorable day of sport.

Plusvital’s, Orla Queally, was on-site to present the prizes. The top three riders each received a Plusvital Gift Pack, including Electrolyte Plus, Electrolyte Gel, Sport Syrup, Re-Zest, and a product brochure.

The next leg of the Plusvital Premier Series will take place on Sunday, July 20th at Balmoral.
