McEvoy Dominates Again as Plusvital Premier Series Heats Up

Sunday, June 22nd marked the third leg of the Plusvital Premier Series, held at Cavan Equestrian Centre. A strong field of 36 combinations took on the challenging 1.50m course, with only 12 progressing to the second round. Just six combinations managed to produce double clear rounds on the day.

In a remarkable display of consistency and talent, Niamh McEvoy claimed victory for the third time in this year’s series—this time aboard a new mount, Flora du Mesnil, a 10-year-old mare owned by GBBS Int Ltd. Based at Ballypatrick Stables with renowned producer Greg Broderick, McEvoy also secured second place riding BP Rocket Man, the horse with which she won the Barnadown leg of the series.

Rounding out the podium, Plusvital Brand Ambassador Susan Fitzpatrick delivered a stylish double clear to take third place aboard Valisco PS, followed by fellow ambassador Cathal Daniels in fourth on Cappog Tomy. Molly Hughes Bravo claimed fifth with HHS Tokyo, while Ethen Ahearne and LVS Goldrush H completed the top six.

Plusvital’s Chief Technical Officer, Rebecca Watson, was on-site to present the prizes. The top three riders each received a Plusvital Gift Pack, including Electrolyte Plus, Electrolyte Gel, Sport Syrup, Re-Zest, and a product brochure.

The next leg of the Plusvital Premier Series will take place on Saturday, July 6th at Maryville.
