McEvoy Does the Double at the Plusvital Premier Series in Mullingar
The second leg of the Plusvital Premier Series took place on Monday June 2nd at Mullingar Equestrian Centre, where 56 combinations tackled a technical 1.45m course. Only eight riders managed to jump clear in the opening round to earn a place in the jump-off, setting the stage for a fiercely competitive finish.
Niamh McEvoy once again proved unbeatable, securing her second consecutive Premier Series win, this time aboard the 11-year-old gelding Olympic GL FVD, owned by Keith Ennis. The Ballypatrick-based rider delivered a lightning-fast round in 46.49 seconds, adding to her dominant performance at Barnadown, where she also claimed three of the top six spots in the series opener.
Hot on her heels, Nicolas Butler took second place riding Ladycastle Paco, going clear in 46.82 seconds, while Plusvital Brand Ambassador Susan Fitzpatrick completed the podium with Valisco PS.

Speaking after her win, McEvoy said:
"I am delighted to win the Plusvital Premier Series. It was a really well-built course — the first round was a little bit catchy. He was in brilliant form today and I’m delighted with the result."
The top three riders were each presented with a Plusvital Gift Pack including Electrolyte Plus, Electrolyte Gel, Sport Syrup, Re-Zest, a branded cap, and product brochure. The next leg of the Plusvital Premier Series is scheduled to take place again at Cavan Equestrian Centre on June 22nd.
