Johnny Murtagh’s Sonnyboyliston wins Ebor Handicap

Sonnyboyliston gave Plusvtal Ambassador  Johnny Murtagh a second victory in the Sky Bet Ebor at York on Saturday.

Johnny Murtagh previously sent out Mutual Regard to win the handicap feature back in 2014, and Sonnyboyliston fended off Quickthorn to once again take the prize back to Co Kildare.
“To have a winner at Ascot, to have a winner at Goodwood and to come here and win the Ebor again, it’s all the hard work that everyone does,” said Murtagh
