Truth In The Bones: Resolving The Identity Of The Founding Elite Thoroughbred Racehorses: This study examined whether the skeleton housed in the Royal Veterinary College, London (RVC), is Eclipse and whether Bend Or, whose skeleton resides at the Natural History Museum, London, was actually a horse named Tadcaster, whose pedigree was more prestigious. It was found that the Skeleton at the RVC is indeed Eclipse, but that Bend Or is likely Tadcaster.
