A Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (BIEC2-808543) On ECA3 Is Associated With Recurrent Laryngeal Neuropathy Independent Of Height In Thoroughbred Horses: Previous studies have suggested that increased risk of recurrent laryngeal neuropathy (RLN) is linked to a variant proximal to the LCORL/NCAPG gene – a gene associated with height in Thoroughbreds. However, this study found no association between the C-allele on the LCORL/NCAPG gene and height.
