Business Analyst (Contract), Plusvital – Dublin

The Position

Plusvital is seeking to hire an experienced Business Analyst on a 6-month contract, with potential for further retention, to join our growing genetic testing business.

Reporting to the Tech Lead Engineer, the successful candidate will elicit and analyse the business requirements from stakeholders/users, understand the current pain points, process issues, and derive and document smart solutions

This is a key role to enable the in-house development of new software infrastructure and products that will drive the growth of the company

This role will afford the successful candidate outstanding career development prospects, and the opportunity to be instrumental in driving Plusvital’s growth through the support and development of our core IT systems, as well as the revenue generation sections of our business.

The Role of the Business Analyst will include:

Agree and document business requirements in high quality user stories
Close gaps and obtain clarification on business requirements
Support the team in growing and prioritising the backlog
Generate documentation for business team such as User Manuals, SOPs etc.
Work collaboratively within a scrum environment
Ensure that the team delivers high quality software on time and that it meets client and user business needs
Support key stakeholders in identification and resolution of issues
Represent at project status meetings and help drive project deliverables

Requirements

Relevant 3^rd Level Degree
Track record as a Business Analyst (3-5 years)
Agile/Scrum experience
Ability to write functional/technical documentation
Experience in developing Business Requirements, User Requirements, User Stories etc
